Is It Friday Yet?

Some days I get going with a lot of energy and cram as much as is humanly possible into 24 hours. Then I fall into bed already asleep and feel hung over in the morning.  (Not that I KNOW what that feels like, but I can imagine it is like that.)

Then I look at my mental list of "things to do" each day and wonder what can I leave off that list so that I am not wasted the next day.  And I try to cram almost as much as is humanly possible into a day and fall into bed exhausted.

The I realize it is only Wednesday, or Thursday, or Tuesday, or whatever and I have many more days of this to do in my life.

It makes the little extra sleep I can glean on Saturday (now that swim season is over) or Sunday (unless I have an early meeting) all the more welcome.

Come on, weekend!  I could use a little bit of extra right about now.
