Heigh Ho....

Today is another of those "PTSA Work Days" for me.  I have a region meeting with PTA leaders from all over our school district.  We meet with the school superintendent and counsel together about how the PTA in each of our 70-ish schools can help the students and teachers and families in our county.

We are charged today with judging the awards applications that have been submitted for Outstanding Educator and Outstanding Volunteer along with some other PTA-specific awards.  It is always fun to see the great stuff going on elsewhere in the district.

Then, the bigger part of my day happens.  It is our last parent-teacher conference today at the high school and the PTSA provides dinner for the teachers after school, before the conferences begin.  Luckily, we always have help with this, but I will need to bring a crock pot of soup as well as pick up the green salad, tomatoes and dressings.  not a hard job but we didn't get enough volunteers, so we have to purchase some of the dinner this time.  It is state wrestling tournament tonight, so that will involve a lot of our supportive families.

So, "off to work, I go..."

As a teacher, I can tell you how much I love the PTA dinners in SEPs. It is one of my favorite things about having to be there. So, thank you!!!
