Here it is, my friends. Our first attempt at punishment by the pen. The Boy wrote this yesterday for punishment for me catching him in two lies the day before. It sure beats grounding him, and consequently myself too.
His writing, I believe is revealing a couple other points with hi I need to watch more vigilantly. Self-incrimination is the best!
Grounded Papaer
You know when you tell a lie. You think it is so small it won't hurt anything. well, that little lie can hurt a lot of things. Even though it is so small.
Well, let's say you tell your mom you are going to walk somewhere. But you are really riding a bike. You think that is a little lie and it's not. She thinks you're going to walk but you're really riding a bike. You could gt hurt. If you got hurt, how would you tell her how it happened?
If your mom asks if you have brushed your teeth, and you say "Yes" when you really have not. You think it won't hurt anything. You could get in a habit of doing that and could hurt your teeth a lot.
OK, so you have for 30 minutes and your mom asks you if you are reading and you say you are. BUt you are really just listening to music. The reason your mom wants you just to get better but just listening to music you are just rotting your brain. Your mom is just trying to help you out.
Lying to your mom is bad. When you don't want to do something that you think is stupid, but she is just trying to help you out. And just telling a little lie can turn into something big and bad. And that is why you should not lie to your mom or dad.
