Genius Golfer & I headed our for an Alaskan cruise worth my parents, sister and brother in law. We just had breakfast in the hotel in Anchorage. Sister and dad had reindeer sausage with their omelets. We're not in Kansas anymore.
We're celebrating my parents' 50th anniversary with this trip. We've had a series of celebrations this year for their big one.
I'm lucky to have such a wonderful example of togetherness and perseverance as a couple. They've set a good example for me. They aren't perfect, but they work hard together and they commit day after day to reach other again.
It doesn't get much better than that.
