Day 2: London, Baby!

Day two was just as fun as I had hoped!

 We saw almost everything!  The Tower...

 Amy the ultimate tour guide...

 Pam, just happy to be there....

 Open air/rain double decker bus tour...

 We wandered through St James Park

 We saw British birds...

 The Changing of the Guards at Buckingham palace got rained out!

 Then we toured the Queen's garage...AKA: The Royal Mews

 Then we waited in the rainy que to see the Churchill War rooms...

 Then to the Tower of London...so MUCH to see here:

 Then a quick bus ride...We saw Selfridge's Department Store, a la PBS...

 Tottenham Court Road, but didn't see Hermione or Ron or Harry...

The British Museum: Never lost its charm!

 The Egyptian exhibit was our destination--as we only had 20 minutes...but the atrium was breath taking!

 Lunch was an Irish Pub watching the Euro Cup football and a delish burger and salad!
