Hello. Thanks for Calling. May I Help You?

Officially my title at work is "Customer Service Representative".  I'm not exactly sure what that actually means.  I answer the phone, take orders from nurses for equipment, answer questions of Medicare patients who need something or do like something else.  I file paperwork.  I enter data.  I sort the days orders and dispatch drivers to deliveries and pick ups.  I embroider--if we need a little extra help.  I also clean equipment when the pile gets too big.  I vacuum the office, I clean the windows, and dust the displays.

A CSR them, it seems to me, is a person who does it all and plugs the holes until a further, more permanent solution can be put into action.  Yep.  Girl Friday.

I prefer the Katherine Hepburn reference better.
