Happy Fourth of July!

"....o'er the land of the free...and the home of the brave!"

Having traveled just a little bit in the world, I always enjoy seeing the new places and especially loved visiting Australia and New Zealand so long ago.  But coming home to America still always held a special feeling.  The government may not be all that we want it to be.  But it is still better than anywhere else in the world!  I think sometimes we loose sight of that fact because there is much to be desired her at home.  But the only way any of that will ever change is to do our part.  Become involved. Run for office.  Serve the community. Participate in local, municipal, county and state government.  Make your voice heard.  Otherwise, we just become a whiny bunch of complainers who aren't making any difference to those who are trying to make the changes they want to see.  If the changes that are being made are NOT the ones you want to see, then get out there and make your voice heard.  Those that do, generally get the changes.

In the meantime, God Bless America.  We need all the help we can get.
