How I Spent My Summer Vacation, Part 1

I am just today getting the last of the trek stuff put away.  Sunday was a humongous laundry day, and Monday was  a day to clean the tends, etc. and get them all back where they belong, and yesterday I was finishing the rest of the mini-piles from the four of us here.  Today, I am ready to review:

Our Trek Family....before the journey began....

We were the "BLÜ~Berry Family".  Blue, since we were in the Blue Company...but spelled in a Germanic way, showing some family history.  And "Berry" because our Ma's last name is Bridges, and the Pa's last name is Perry, so they smashed them together.  Plus, it made it fun to call out to our family at camp "Blueberries!"

So we were Granny and Grandpa....with Ma Emily and Pa Michael..and our family included Devin, Rachel and Brayden.  I knew the girls from my time in YW, but didn't know the boys very well at all.  But all that soon changed!
