Tonight is the Stake Young Women's Winter Camp. I've opted not to sleep in teh snow, againa, but it is on my bucket list, so someday I will do that. I am really waiting for The Girl to be able to come with me and together we can be sleeping-burrito-dwellers.
The Girl is invited this year, but due to her Swim Finals being held on Saturday, she is choosing to miss it to be rested instead. I hope her dedication pays off on Saturday.
We might be the only Stake that hold a Winter Camp for Young Women. The Scouts do it every year--their Klondike Derby. Dozens of scouts camp in the snow and compete in various challenges--like fire building, or sled racing. We will play, but not in any competition. We will eat and do some leadership worklshops and eat some more.
Anyone feel the need to wrap themselve in a sleeping bag, wrapped in a pair of foam sheets, inside a big plastic burrtio? Yeah, me neither.
