I was invited to join 20 other ladies from an adjoining stake--most are PTA friends--to go to the movies and see Twilight last night. I had read the books, and like Harry Potter, I knew the movie would never be as good as the book--though it was still not Harry Potter for me.The draw for this outing was the 20 other women. This is not a group I socialize with outside of school. Once in a while I get to have lunch with one or two of them, but that is it. 20 moms doing something just for fun together is a great idea. On the way home, one of the moms even mentioned that we really should do this type of thing more often.
I admire each of these ladies for different things they do. The beautiful part of last night was there was not a negative word said, that I heard at least. At times, let's face it, women get together and it is all negative. It was so refreshing to have it be only a positive evening together.
So, Thanks Wendy, for orchestrating all of us going! It was great fun and the movie was pretty good too.

So much fun!! Thanks for the ride to the theater girl. And yes... we should definately do stuff like that more often. Giggling is good for the abs.
